Project
Design and build the PaPM cost allocation model, including calculation logic and end-to-end data flows using inputs from manual files, SAP, and SAP BW
Create and connect allocation drivers and master data in PaPM
Set up PaPM reporting for business stakeholders, showing results at each calculation step
Provide model outputs required for SAP S/4HANA posting
Expected competences and knowledge
Modeling Functions: hands-on proficiency in configuring Allocation, Calculation, Join, View, Derivation, and Remote Function Adapter types, and other functions
Environment: Technical understanding of SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) and SAP HANA Cloud infrastructure
SQL Proficiency: Ability to write and debug SQLScript for complex logic within PaPM functions
Data Integration: Experience setting up data connections (SDA/SDI) between PaPM Cloud and source systems like S/4HANA, SAP Datasphere, or SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
Process Management: Configuration of Process Templates and Activities to manage execution workflows and user permissions
Performance Tuning: Experience with partition management and optimizing calculation runs for large datasets in a cloud environment
