SAP PaPM Developer

Summary: The SAP PaPM Developer role is focused on leveraging SAP Profitability and Performance Management (PaPM) Cloud to implement and optimize business processes for clients, ensuring effective data integration and performance tuning within SAP environments.

Main Responsibilities:

• Complete at least one full End-to-End implementation cycle on SAP PaPM Cloud, including design, environment setup, and go-live.

• Configure modeling functions including Allocation, Calculation, Join, View, Derivation, and Remote Function Adapter types.

• Understand and leverage SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and SAP HANA Cloud infrastructure.

• Write and debug SQLScript for complex logic within PaPM functions.

• Set up data connections (SDA/SDI) between PaPM Cloud and source systems such as S/4HANA, SAP Datasphere, or SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).

• Manage execution workflows and user permissions through Process Templates and Activities.

• Optimize calculation runs and manage partitioning for large datasets.

Key Requirements:

• At least one full End-to-End implementation cycle on SAP PaPM Cloud.

• Hands-on experience with various modeling functions (Allocation, Calculation, etc.).

• Technical understanding of SAP BTP and SAP HANA Cloud.

• Proficient in SQLScript for debugging and writing complex logic.

• Experience in setting up data connections between PaPM Cloud and various source systems.

• Knowledge of configuration for Process Templates and Activities.

• Experience in performance tuning and partition management.

Nice to Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Finance, or related technical field.

• Preferred certification in SAP PaPM or SAP HANA Cloud.
