SAP PP/QM Consultant (Production Planning & Quality Management Lead)

Job Description

We are seeking a senior, hands-on SAP PP/QM Consultant / Workstream Lead to lead the Production Planning and Quality Management stream for our group-wide transformation using RISE with SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition.

The role involves designing, standardizing, and deploying manufacturing and quality processes across multiple operating verticals with diverse production profiles.

Key Responsibilities

• SAP PP End-to-End Implementation: Design and configure core master data (BOMs, Routings, Work Centers, Production Versions), Demand Management, Planned Orders, Production Orders, and Confirmations.
• Manufacturing Models: Deliver robust solutions across Discrete, Repetitive, Make-to-Order (MTO), and Make-to-Stock (MTS) models.
• Advanced Planning & Shop Floor: Configure MRP Live, capacity evaluation, leveling, WIP calculations, co-/by-product handling, and external MES integrations. Leverage S/4HANA innovations like Predictive MRP and embedded PP/DS.
• SAP QM Implementation: Configure inspection plans, sampling procedures, MICs, and automated inspection lots (goods receipt, in-process, final delivery). Implement results recording, usage decisions, and digital signatures.
• Quality Workflows & Governance: Set up quality notifications, CAPA workflows, customer complaints, vendor evaluation via QM scoring, and Certificates of Analysis (CoA/CoC) aligned with ISO 9001 standards.
• Cross-Module Integration: Ensure seamless process flow and integration across MM, SD, FI/CO (costing, variance, WIP), PM, and PS.
• Delivery & Governance: Manage onshore/offshore consultant teams and system integrators, oversee RICEFW specifications, guide UAT/SIT cycles, and lead end-user enablement.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Experience: 810+ years of core SAP PP/QM implementation experience with leadership exposure.
• S/4HANA Track Record: Minimum 2 end-to-end full-lifecycle implementations on SAP S/4HANA.
• Domain Knowledge: Strong manufacturing industry background across plant operations, shop floor control, and quality control systems.
• Education: B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech in Mechanical, Industrial, Production Engineering, or related fields. Six Sigma / Lean certifications are an added advantage.
• Mobility: Must be open and eligible to travel to the UAE for project milestones, workshops, and go-live phases.

Preferred / Good to Have

• Official SAP S/4HANA Certification in PP or QM.
• Hands-on exposure to SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud (DMC), MES, or SAP IBP.
• Prior migration experience from legacy systems (e.g., Oracle EBS, standalone QMS) to S/4HANA.
• Experience working in GCC conglomerate environments with multi-company, multi-plant operations.
