Job Description:

Position: Consultant SAP SD

Engagement Type: Full Time

Work Location: Chennai Office,WFO

Role Purpose

Lead the functional design, configuration, and support of SAP SD module to enable efficient order to-cash processes. The role focuses on delivering scalable, compliant, and optimized SAP solutions while acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Functional Design & Process Optimization - Analyze business requirements related to sales and distribution processes - Design process flows aligned with SAP SD best practices - Develop functional solution blueprints Deliverable: Optimized order-to-cash processes

2. System Configuration & Implementation - Configure SAP SD module based on business needs - Prepare functional specifications for developments - Conduct unit and integration testing Deliverable: Configured and validated SAP SD system

3. Documentation & Governance - Develop business blueprints, functional specs, and user manuals - Ensure compliance with audit and governance standards Deliverable: Complete documentation repository

4. Issue Resolution & Support - Troubleshoot SAP SD issues and provide timely fixes - Support business users and stabilize operations Deliverable: Issue resolution logs and stable system

5. Data Migration & Cutover - Support data migration activities for SD master and transactional data - Validate and upload data - Assist in cutover planning Deliverable: Clean data migration and go-live readiness

6. Go-Live & Hypercare - Support go-live activities - Provide post go-live support and stabilization Deliverable: Smooth transition to production

Experience & Qualifications Experience: - Minimum 4 to 6 years in SAP SD functional roles - Experience in implementation/support projects Education: - Bachelors degree in IT / Computer Science or related field Certification: - SAP SD certification preferred Technical Competencies - SAP SD configuration (pricing, billing, shipping) - Functional specification writing - Testing (Unit, UAT, Integration) - Data migration and cutover support - Integration with MM, FI modules Added Advantage: - Experience in SAP S/4HANA - Exposure to advanced SD functionalities Behavioral Competencies - Strong analytical thinking - Stakeholder communication - Ownership mindset - Collaboration and teamwork - Documentation discipline
