An SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) Consultant is responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP systems to manage the Order-to-Cash (O2C) process including sales orders, shipping, billing, and pricing. The role involves bridging business requirements with technical solutions and improving operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver business improvement initiatives aligned with business strategy
- Define and document functional requirements for IT systems
- Configure system changes and ensure adherence to change management processes
- Perform unit testing & integration testing before production deployment
- Maintain integrity of SAP ECC processes and resolve support issues
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and participate in global projects
- Monitor, document, and improve system processes and performance
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with system controls
Required Skills & Experience
Must Have:
- Graduate with 5+ years of experience in a commercial organization
- Experience in SAP SD module implementations (minimum 2 projects)
- Pricing
- Billing configuration
- Sales documents
- Accounts integration
- GAP analysis & BRD documentation
- Strong understanding of SAP Sales processes & transactions
- Experience in system configuration & technical delivery
- Knowledge of manufacturing/commercial business processes
- Ability to translate business requirements into SAP solutions
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in Agile / cross-functional teams
- Fluent in English
