Job Description: SAP SD Consultant (IS Retail)

Responsibilities

• SAP SD Functional Support & Enhancements
• Provide functional support for SAP SD processes in SAP IS-Retail environments.
• Configure and maintain:
• Sales Order Processing
• Pricing Procedures
• Billing & Invoicing
• Output Determination
• Shipping & Delivery Processing
• Credit Management Confidential
• Returns Management
• Intercompany Sales
• Customer Master Management
• Support omnichannel retail operations including:
• POS Sales
• E-Commerce Sales
• Institutional Sales
• Intercompany Transactions
• Manage incidents, service requests, defects, enhancements, and change requests within agreed SLAs.
• Perform root cause analysis and resolution of SD-related business and system issues.
• Support testing activities including SIT, UAT, regression testing, and production deployments.
• Business Process Consulting
• Collaborate with business teams to understand and document requirements.
• Prepare Functional Specification Documents (FSD), Business Requirement Documents (BRD), and process flows.
• Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities across Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.
• Support business transformation initiatives and process harmonization programs.
• Integration Management
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including:
• Support integration between retail POS systems, e-commerce platforms, logistics systems and SAP SD.

Qualifications

• Educational Qualification -Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• SAP SD Certification will be an added advantage.

Functional Skills

• Strong knowledge of SAP SD Order-to-Cash processes.
• Experience in:
• Sales Document Configuration
• Item Categories
• Schedule Line Categories
• Delivery Processing
• Billing Processes
• Pricing and Taxation
• Output Management
• Returns Management
• Customer Master Data
• Logistics Execution
• Understanding of retail business processes and omnichannel sales operations.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA SD functionality and best practices.

• Experience with SDLC methodologies and testing cycles.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Preferred Skills

• Preferred Qualifications
• SAP SD Certification.
• Minimum 1 End-to-End SAP S/4HANA Implementation.
• Experience in SAP IS-Retail environment.
• Exposure to SAP CAR, SAP MM, and FI integration.
