SAP Solution Architect [Hybrid - Porto e Santarém, Portugal | Temporary]

We are looking for an experienced SAP Solution Architect for a 4-month contract to support an architectural assessment of an SAP-based environment within the meat distribution and processing industry. The ideal candidate has a strong background in SAP architecture, particularly in modules supporting manufacturing and industrial operations, with the ability to evaluate existing solutions, identify improvement opportunities, and provide architectural recommendations.

Tasks:

• Assess the current SAP architecture supporting manufacturing and industrial operations.
• Analyze the existing SAP landscape, including system integrations, dependencies, and architectural components.
• Evaluate how SAP modules support manufacturing processes and operational requirements.
• Identify architectural limitations, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Provide technical and architectural recommendations aligned with business and operational needs.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to understand the current environment and define potential improvements.
• Document assessment findings and propose architectural recommendations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an SAP Solution Architect or SAP Technical Architect, with a focus on manufacturing and industrial environments.
• Strong understanding of SAP architecture and its application to manufacturing processes.
• Experience with SAP modules supporting manufacturing and industrial operations.
• Previous experience conducting SAP architecture assessments or evaluating existing SAP landscapes.
• Ability to analyze system integrations, architectural dependencies, and technical requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate architectural findings and recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience working at an architectural and strategic level, rather than focusing primarily on SAP module configuration.

• Experience with SAP PP (Production Planning), SAP MM (Materials Management), SAP QM (Quality Management), or other manufacturing-related SAP modules.
• Previous experience in food processing, meat production, or distribution environments.
• Experience with SAP architecture modernization or transformation projects.
