About us

Fortune School is a network of tuition-free public charter schools serving scholars in Sacramento and San Bernardino. We are launching our first scholar transportation program, and we are hiring the drivers who will run it. The first drivers we hire will help shape how it works.

You may apply for one route or both

These are posted as separate morning and afternoon positions. You are welcome to apply for either one or for both. A driver holding both routes works 8 hours per day and is a benefited employee, eligible for medical, dental and vision coverage.

Required to apply

  • 18 years of age or older

  • Valid California driver's license

  • Clean driving record

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Three years of driving experience

No commercial license or school bus certificate is required.

  • Mandated Reporter training

What you will do

  • Complete a daily vehicle inspection and keep the daily log

  • Keep an accurate rider roster and account for every scholar boarding and exiting
