School Food Service Worker

We are seeking dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented individuals to join our K-12 school food service team. In this role, you will assist with daily food preparation, meal service, cashier operations, and kitchen cleanup while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Food Preparation & Service: Prepare and serve meals, cook, bake, make sandwiches and salads, and assist with serving students and staff.
• Cashier Operations: Operate the register/POS system and handle cashier duties in accordance with company cash-handling policies.
• Kitchen Operations: Receive deliveries, put away food orders, stock shelves, and ensure food is properly stored.
• Cleaning & Sanitation: Wash dishes, sanitize workstations, clean kitchen equipment, maintain clean serving areas, and remove garbage daily.
• Food & Workplace Safety: Follow all food safety, sanitation, and physical safety procedures. Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Professionalism & Attendance: Maintain excellent attendance, arrive on time and in proper uniform, follow instructions, and work cooperatively as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Previous food service or kitchen experience preferred.
• Cashier experience a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
