Summary
Scrum Master embedded with cross-organizational, multi-disciplinary agile teams onsite in Chantilly, VA: runs scrum ceremonies, sprint planning and weekly reporting, manages backlogs in Jira, coordinates test resources and production deployment approvals, and manages risk across concurrent projects, including ICD-503 accreditation to ATO. Requires an active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph.
LOCATION: Full-time onsite in Chantilly, VA area
We are seeking a Scrum Master who brings hands-on-experience facilitating Agile development teams through complex software engineering lifecycles. In this role, you will be embedded directly with cross-organizational, multi-disciplinary teams, applying core Scrum values and Agile principles to optimize team velocity and maintain steady pipeline momentum.

- Running daily team scrum meetings.
- Working with project teams to determine or project work scope and level of effort to produce a t-shirt size for the associated work.
- Coordinating test resources and deployments with other groups.
- Working with reporting system for notifying system status and to seek approval for deployment to production.
- experience leading an Agile development team.
- experience working with senior level customers for status updates and prioritization.
- knowledge and experience with using Jira for managing backlogs, portfolios, products, and sprints.
- experience putting together sprint plans.
- experience putting together weekly reports.
- ability to monitor the progress of multiple concurrent and highly visible projects and requirements with the ability to recommend or take required corrective actions; to perform risk identification and management; and to communicate effectively with the customer, stakeholder, and project team.
- knowledge and experience with leading and managing enterprise level projects that have a multi-disciplinary cross-organizational project team from start to end using the Sponsor’s Project Management Framework (PMF) and Agile Project Management methodology.
- knowledge and experience with managing multiple concurrent projects, short deadlines, and competing priorities.
- knowledge and experience identifying programmatic challenges, risks, and constraints coupled with a strong ability to convey well-thought mitigation strategies.
- knowledge and experience managing a project through the accreditation process using ICD-503 and receiving ATO.
- Working in a fast-paced, Lean Agile environment.
- Working with Sponsor IT systems, missions, and strategies.
- Communicating with senior customers, senior management, and implementation partners.
- Creating and maintaining JIRA tickets.
- Managing top line charts, sprint burn-up charts and sprint goals.
