Salary: 800-900 PLN/day on B2B

Work model: hybrid from Gdańsk/Warszwa (2/3 days per week from the office)

Project

You will be involved in a financial project focused on supporting and maintaining critical Mainframe systems within one of the leading Nordic banking institutions. You will play a key role in ensuring the stability, availability, and reliability of business-critical services used across the organization. Working in a collaborative international environment, you will contribute to incident resolution, operational excellence, and continuous service improvements. This is an opportunity to work with complex enterprise-scale systems that support core banking operations.

Responsibilities you'll have

• Monitor and support critical Mainframe production environments

• Investigate and resolve incidents and operational issues

• Perform root cause analysis and drive problem resolution

• Support batch processing and ensure smooth daily operations

• Work with Mainframe technologies including z/OS, JCL, DB2, CICS, IMS, and VSAM

• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams to maintain service stability

• Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives

Expected competences and knowledge

• Deep understanding of mainframe technologies (COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS,IMS) and Base SAS.

• Capability to use TSO/ISPF and SDSF to browse datasets and monitor system output.

• Experience of working on tools like OPC/TWS, Abend aid,File Aid for defect fix..
