SDE-2 Full-Stack Engineer

Compensation: $12k – $14k • No equity

About Xybit Xybit Inc. builds fintech and trading products for a global audience of traders and crypto-native users. Our platforms include The Funded Room, a proprietary trading evaluation program offering funded accounts, and Xento, a quest-to-earn platform where users earn points for social, onchain, learning and trading quests.

We are a small, senior team. One engineer here ships features that touch real money flows, real-time data and thousands of users, with no layers of process between you and production.

What you'll do • Design, build and ship full-stack features across our web apps, APIs and admin tools, owning each from spec through release and monitoring. • Model data and write performant Postgres queries, migrations and row-level security policies. • Build and harden backend services, background jobs and webhooks that handle payments, payouts, KYC and trading-account events. • Integrate third-party providers (payments, exchanges, email, analytics, onchain data) with retries, idempotency and clear failure handling. • Build fast, accessible, responsive interfaces with strong state management. • Write tests, add observability, and run safe rollouts. • Review code, mentor junior engineers, and write clear design notes. • Work directly with product, compliance, marketing and support to turn ambiguous problems into shippable work.

What you'll bring • 3 to 5 years of professional experience shipping production full-stack applications. • Strong TypeScript and JavaScript, with solid React (or Next.js) on the front end and Node.js on the back end. • Deep working knowledge of PostgreSQL: schema design, indexing, query tuning, transactions and migrations. • Experience designing REST or GraphQL APIs, including authentication, authorization and rate limiting. • Comfort with cloud and serverless deployment, CI/CD, and debugging production issues. • A habit of writing tests and handling edge cases, especially around money, concurrency and third-party failures. • Clear written and spoken communication. • Evidence of ownership: a feature or service you took from zero to production and kept running.

Nice to have • Fintech, trading or prop-firm experience (ledgers, payouts, risk rules, reconciliation). • Supabase experience: RLS, Edge Functions, Auth. • Web3 exposure: wallets, onchain data, EVM chains, exchange APIs. • Real-time systems: WebSockets, queues, pub/sub. • KYC/AML flows, audit logging, PII handling.

Compensation USD 1,000+ per month, depending on experience and interview performance, plus performance-based bonus. Remote-first, flexible hours, learning budget.
