SDET (Junior/Mid) at BairesDev
As an SDET, you will design and implement automated testing solutions to ensure high software quality throughout the development lifecycle. You will act as a technical link between development and quality assurance, building scalable tools that accelerate release velocity while maintaining system reliability.
What You'll Do:
- Architect and maintain reusable test automation frameworks using modern web tools like Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
- Design and execute comprehensive UI and API automated test suites to identify defects early in the production cycle.
- Integrate automated quality gates into CI/CD pipelines to provide immediate feedback to engineering teams.
- Collaborate with developers during code reviews to advocate for testability and robust design patterns.
- Manage test data and environments to ensure consistent and reproducible results across diverse platforms.
- Analyze test execution reports to drive continuous improvements in coverage and overall system performance.
What we are looking for:
- 1+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Test Automation.
- Proven expertise in UI automation using modern frameworks like Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
- Proficiency in programming with TypeScript, JavaScript, or Java for developing automated test scripts.
- Hands-on experience with API testing and tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD integration and maintaining automated QA processes in dev pipelines.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
