Seasonal Food Production Associate- 1st Shift

The Seasonal Food Production Associate plays an important role in the daily operations of Cheryl’s Cookies Food Manufacturing Facility. This position is responsible for assisting with the preparation, production, decorating, and packaging of cookies and other baked goods. Associates will perform a variety of hands-on tasks, including mixing, frosting, decorating, labeling, and packaging products, as well as operating production equipment such as wire cutters, depositors, frosting machines, and packaging machines.

Associates must be flexible and willing to work in different production areas based on daily operational needs while maintaining high standards of quality, food safety, and efficiency.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow daily production assignments provided by the Production Leadership Team.

• Assist with the preparation, mixing, depositing, frosting, decorating, and packaging of cookies, cakes, brownies, muffins, and other baked goods.

• Operate or assist with various production machines, including wire cutters, depositors, frosting machines, and packaging equipment.

• Perform duties across multiple production areas, including but not limited to:

  • Baked Cookie Wire Cutting

  • Product Labeling

  • Cake and Brownie Depositing

  • Muffin Depositing

  • Frozen Dough Ball Wire Cutting

  • Packaging Machine Operations

  • Shrink-Wrap Packaging

  • Custom Cookie Decorating

  • Frosting Machine Operations

• Inspect products to ensure they meet company quality and packaging standards.

• Accurately label, package, and prepare finished baked goods for distribution.

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production environment.

• Work collaboratively with team members and production leadership to meet daily production goals.

• Demonstrate flexibility by rotating between production assignments as business needs change.

• Maintain reliable and consistent attendance throughout the seasonal assignment.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Production Leadership Team.
