Secretary (Office Automation)

About the Position: This position is located at Ramey Unit School, Puerto Rico. Ramey Unit School occupies 20 lush, tropical acres located in the northwest corner of Puerto Rico near the town of Aguadilla. Federal employees in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico may be entitled to receive a 2.49% Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) in addition to the base salary. (% is subject to change) This position is not covered by a bargaining unit.

Review outgoing correspondence for accuracy.

Prepare a variety of memorandums, documents, and forms.

Compile information for reports.

Maintain an office calendar and suspense files.

Receive calls, greets visitors, and direct inquiries.

Provide information and guidance on school procedures, reports, and requirements.

Maintain personnel time and attendance records to adhere to Department of War Education Activity (DoWEA) policies.

Coordinate and arrange substitute teachers.
