Overview

In this role, you will design and operate the data engineering foundations for security analytics, building robust ingestion, transformation, and enrichment pipelines and Snowflake data models. You’ll enable AI-ready data and automation to support security posture reporting across PlayStation data assets. You will ensure reliable, production-grade data pipelines and partner with global stakeholders to translate security and business needs into trusted analytics. This UK-based, remote-eligible position offers the chance to impact security analytics delivery within a leading entertainment technology company.

Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and enrichment pipelines for analytics-ready data
  • Develop and maintain Snowflake data models and warehouse objects to support reporting and AI use cases
  • Create automation to reduce manual data handling and improve reliability across the platform
  • Prepare AI-ready data and support AI-enabled analytics workflows
  • Add business and technical context to security data to improve prioritization and decision-making
  • Apply software engineering practices (version control, testing, code review, CI) to analytics code
  • Operate pipelines in production: monitor health, troubleshoot, and resolve ingestion issues
  • Collaborate with global security, IT, studio, platform, and engineering teams to capture requirements
  • Document data models, pipelines, and solutions for ongoing support
  • Share knowledge and contribute to team projects as priorities shift
Key requirements
  • 4+ years in analytics, data engineering, or related data platform roles
  • Hands-on SQL and knowledge of relational, columnar, or NoSQL databases
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake
  • Experience building data pipelines and data modeling for analytics or data warehouses
  • Experience operating pipelines in production (monitoring and troubleshooting)
  • Scripting and automation experience (Python, Java, R, or similar)
  • Experience enabling AI-enabled analytics or ML workflows
  • Experience with REST APIs and data formats (JSON, XML) and platform SDKs/APIs
  • Software engineering practices for analytics code (version control, testing, CI)
  • Experience with large, complex data sets; security/tech/risk data a plus
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and clear written/verbal communication
