Summary

A 12-month contract Security Architect role with an AI infrastructure and cloud platform provider, split roughly 60% hands-on delivery and 40% advisory/pre-sales. Core focus is zero-trust multi-tenancy and confidential computing, using Kubernetes/OpenShift, NVIDIA Confidential Computing/BlueField, HashiCorp Vault, and OPA/Kyverno.

Salary: Competitive Day Rate

Are you an experienced Security Architect or Senior Security Engineer with strong zero-trust multi-tenancy and confidential computing experience, looking to shape the security of advanced AI and cloud platforms?

Would you like to combine hands-on technical delivery with architecture ownership in a specialist role open to candidates across Australia?

Please note: Practical experience in BOTH zero-trust multi-tenancy and confidential computing is essential and non-negotiable. Senior and Principal Security Engineers ready to step into an architecture role are encouraged to apply.

Our client is delivering advanced AI infrastructure and cloud platforms and is seeking a Domain Architect | AI Security to lead security design and implementation across shared infrastructure, platform services and AI workloads.

You do not need to have held this exact job title. We understand this is an emerging area and your most recent experience may not yet be reflected on your CV. We are interested in what you have designed, implemented and secured.

THE ROLE
You will act as a key technical authority for security, working closely with platform, infrastructure and solutions teams to translate architectural designs into practical controls.

The role combines approximately 60% hands-on delivery and implementation with 40% technical advisory and pre-sales support, including client workshops, solution scoping and estimates.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Designing and enforcing zero-trust tenant isolation across shared infrastructure
  • Implementing confidential computing to protect data during processing through attested, encrypted-in-use execution
  • Validating tenant isolation and preventing cross-tenant access before onboarding
  • Securing Kubernetes and OpenShift environments through access controls, admission policies and platform hardening
  • Implementing secrets management, identity federation and workload identity
  • Embedding security controls through automation, policy-as-code and GitOps
  • Strengthening AI workload protection, software supply chain security and runtime threat detection
  • Leading technical discussions with clients and contributing to solution designs, statements of work and delivery estimates
You will work across an environment that includes NVIDIA BlueField/DOCA, NVIDIA Confidential Computing, Kubernetes/OpenShift, HashiCorp Vault, OPA/Kyverno and AI security tooling.

ABOUT YOU
You will be technically strong, comfortable working hands-on and confident explaining security decisions to engineers and senior stakeholders.
You may currently be a Security Architect, Principal Security Engineer, Senior Cloud Security Engineer or Platform Security Lead with the experience and capability to take on broader architectural responsibility.

You must bring:
  • Zero-trust multi-tenancy experience, including tenant isolation, micro-segmentation, access boundaries and validation of separation between tenants
  • Confidential computing experience, including attested execution and protecting data in use
  • Strong Kubernetes or container platform security expertise
  • Experience with identity, access controls, secrets management and workload security
  • Security automation experience using tools such as Python, Ansible, Helm or GitOps
  • The ability to turn security requirements into practical, repeatable technical controls
  • Strong communication skills and confidence leading technical discussions
Experience with NVIDIA security technologies, AI workload protection, model security, runtime detection or software supply chain controls will be particularly relevant.

Experience within a systems integrator or delivering solutions for regulated or sovereign environments would also be advantageous.

ROLE DETAILS
  • 12-month contract with view for extension
  • Australia-wide opportunity with remote options
  • ASAP start
  • Competitive contract rate, negotiable based on specialist expertise
  • Hands-on architecture ownership across advanced AI infrastructure
  • A combination of technical delivery, client advisory and solution design
This is an opportunity to apply deep security engineering expertise to an emerging area of AI infrastructure and take ownership of how complex platforms are secured.

If your relevant experience is not yet on your CV, please include a brief note outlining your work in zero-trust multi-tenancy and confidential computing, the technologies involved and your personal contribution.
