Security Engineer | $ 6000

Salary: $5,000 – $6,000 per month

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in infrastructure projects to ensure cybersecurity and security requirements are incorporated throughout the implementation lifecycle.

• Implement, maintain, and review operating system security baselines to ensure compliance with organizational security standards.

• Conduct vulnerability assessments and support timely remediation of identified security vulnerabilities.

• Work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to support cybersecurity and infrastructure initiatives.

• Identify and recommend security best practices, while keeping up to date with emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends.

• Maintain strong attention to detail and demonstrate sound risk awareness when assessing and addressing security issues.

Key requirements:

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Strong technical knowledge and practical experience with the following security technologies: Web Application Firewall (WAF), SIEM (QRadar preferred), Security Operations Center (SOC) Operations, Database Activity Monitoring (DAM), Privileged Access Management (PAM), Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Encryption Technologies, Penetration Testing, and Vulnerability Assessment.

• Experience in cybersecurity incident response, threat investigation, and security event analysis.
