Position/Titles:

  • Site Supervisor / Security Officer for large corporate property

Job Description:

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for safeguarding properties, deterring criminal activity, and ensuring the safety of businesses, construction sites, and residential communities, etc.
Your role requires vigilance, strong decision-making, and excellent communication skills to handle security incidents effectively. The site supervisor is responsible for the following:
Act as a go-between for the client and operations. Ensure all officers assigned to the site complete all duties as assigned, including but not limited to hourly activity logs, tours, and other tasks. Ensure officers are properly taking and logging their breaks. Utilize a tablet. Conduct site trainings. Update post orders. Take overtime as needed.

Compensation:

$22.00 per hour

Security Guard Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine patrols to monitor and secure designated locations.
  • Identify and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and unauthorized access.
  • Maintain a visible presence to deter criminal activity and ensure public safety.
  • Respond swiftly to incidents and provide support in emergency situations.
  • Document daily activity, incidents, and observations accurately in reports.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding security updates and concerns.

Security Guard Qualifications:

  • Valid BSIS Guard Card (required).
  • Current with BSIS Compliance
    • i.e: 8-Hour Initial Training Certificate
    • 32-hour continuing education certificates
  • Valid DL & Clean driving record and ability to operate company/site vehicles safely.
  • Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to remain alert, responsive, and proactive in high-pressure situations.
