Job Overview:

We're seeking a Security Liaison responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and compliance of all visitors, vendors, contractors, and other non-authorized personnel while on company property. This position serves as an authorized escort, providing continuous oversight and guidance to ensure adherence to company security policies, safety requirements, and operational procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Escort vendors, contractors, visitors, and other non-cleared personnel throughout company facilities as required.

  • Monitor escorted personnel to ensure compliance with all company security, safety, and operational policies and procedures.

  • Prevent unauthorized access to restricted, controlled, or sensitive areas.

  • Verify visitor credentials, badges, and access authorizations before granting entry into designated spaces.

  • Maintain continuous visual contact with escorted individuals while they are in authorized areas.

  • Report security violations, suspicious activity, safety concerns, or policy non-compliance to Security Management immediately.

  • Ensure visitors and contractors follow all applicable safety requirements, including the use of required personal protective equipment (PPE).

  • Assist with visitor check-in and check-out procedures, badge issuance, and access control processes.

  • Document escort activities, incidents, and visitor movements in accordance with company requirements.

  • Provide guidance on facility rules, emergency procedures, and workplace expectations to escorted personnel.

  • Support security operations during audits, inspections, and special projects as needed.

  • Maintain professionalism and customer service while enforcing security requirements.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Ability to understand and enforce security policies, procedures, and access control requirements.

  • Strong attention to detail and situational awareness.

  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to remain alert and attentive for extended periods.

  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.

  • Basic computer skills for logging activities and completing reports.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods throughout the workday.

  • Ability to escort personnel throughout large facilities, including office, manufacturing, warehouse, and outdoor environments.

  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.

  • Ability to respond quickly to security or safety incidents when necessary.

Work Environment:

This position may operate in office, manufacturing, warehouse, or outdoor environments. The Security Escort must maintain a high level of vigilance while interacting with a variety of visitors and contractors in a professional and courteous manner.
