Hotel security protects hotel guests, employees, and property. Hotel security works directly on the hotel property, patrolling the grounds, and in an office, monitoring security cameras or filling out paperwork. This person will follow safety and security standards and complete incident reports as required.

Duties include\:

  • Surveillance and patrol of property
  • Escort Guest and employees as requested
  • Respond to emergency calls
  • Completes incident reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses, obtaining signatures.
  • Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers.
  • Assessing risk and possible safety hazards of all aspects of operations
  • Evacuating guests in the event of a fire or another emergency and obtain help by sounding alarms.
  • Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services as required.
  • Complete various additional tasks and assignments as needed.
