Security Operation Manager
Key Responsibilities
1. Security Operations Management
- Oversee daily security operations across all assigned sites.
- Ensure adequate deployment and coverage of security officers.
- Monitor officers' attendance, punctuality, grooming and performance.
- Conduct regular site inspections and security audits.
- Ensure security posts, patrols, access control and surveillance procedures are properly implemented.
- Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies and operational issues.
2. Client & Site Management
- Maintain good working relationships with clients, MCSTs, building management and other stakeholders.
- Conduct regular meetings and operational reviews with clients.
- Understand and implement site-specific security requirements.
- Address client feedback, complaints and service issues professionally.
- Recommend improvements to security operations where necessary.
3. Security Officer Management
- Supervise and motivate Security Officers and Site Supervisors.
- Prepare and manage deployment schedules and manpower requirements.
- Ensure officers comply with post orders, SOPs and company policies.
- Monitor training, licensing and competency requirements.
- Conduct briefings and toolbox meetings when required.
- Manage disciplinary and performance matters in accordance with company procedures.
4. Incident & Emergency Management
- Lead the response to security incidents and emergencies.
- Investigate incidents and prepare detailed incident reports.
- Coordinate with clients, management and relevant authorities when required.
- Ensure emergency response procedures are properly followed.
- Conduct post-incident reviews and recommend corrective actions.
5. Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure operations comply with applicable Singapore security industry requirements.
- Maintain accurate operational records, attendance records, inspection reports and incident reports.
- Ensure site SOPs, risk assessments and post orders are current.
- Assist management during audits, inspections and client reviews.
6. Business & Operational Support
- Assist management in manpower planning and operational budgeting.
- Support new site mobilisation and takeover projects.
- Participate in tender presentations and client meetings when required.
- Develop operational improvement plans to improve service quality and efficiency.
- Provide regular operational reports to senior management.
