SECURITY SPECIALIST (COMMAND AND STAFF PROGRAM)
Summary
Oversee military security programs including classified information handling, personnel investigations, and security training at a U.S. naval air facility in Japan.
You will serve as a SECURITY SPECIALIST (COMMAND AND STAFF PROGRAM) in the Department of the Navy ofUS NAVAL AIR FACILITY ATSUGI . ***ACCESS TO MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE IN JAPAN IS EXTREMELY LIMITED. Please see Additional Information section below.***
You will be responsible for administration, planning, directing, implementing, and monitoring Information, Personnel, and Industrial Security management programs.
You will initiate and submit Personnel Security Investigation applications through the Electronic Questionnaires for Investigative Processing (e-QIP) or current official system of record and tracks investigations to completion and adjudication.
You will administer and implement command procedures for marking, safeguarding, dissemination, transmission, transportation, escorting, hand-carry, storage and destruction of classified information.
You will formulate and coordinate the command's Security Education, Training, and Awareness (SETA) program
You will develop and coordinate security measures and control of visits to and from the command when the visitor requires, and is authorized, access to classified information
