Summary
Protects classified and sensitive military information by designing and enforcing security policies, procedures, and physical safeguards for Army Special Programs.
About the Position: The incumbent works under the general direction of the HQDA Chief of Staff Army, Army Special Programs Directorate, Washington, D.C.
Plans, develops, administers, and coordinates both long and short-range complex security programs
Manages the overall planning, formulation, and coordinating of SAP physical security matters with the HQDA Security and the Defense agencies.
Performs lead action officer duties for developing, implementing, managing, and monitoring policies, instructions, and procedures for the ASPD personnel and technical security programs to reduce vulnerabilities.
Provides overall safeguarding of national security information with emphasis on classified or other sensitive information originated or controlled by DA/DoD elements.
