Looking for experienced caregivers to join our home care family!
Specific need: Johns Island SC and surrounding areas. Weekday caregiver , 5-10 hour shifts. $17-18/ hour.
Job Summary:
The Caregiver provides clients various personal care and homemaker/companion services in accordance with an established plan of care so that they can remain in their residence.
Essential Functions: seeking an experienced caregiver
- Personal Care
- Provide assistance with basic activities of daily living, provide companionship, may include: bedbaths, changing briefs, hygiene care, etc
- Transfers
- Provide assistance transferring from bed to chair, using mechanical hoyer
- Provide standby assistance
- Provide transferring assistance
- Companion/Sitter/Household Management
- Provide companionship and respite services for family
- Perform homemaking activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathrooms
- Medication Assistance Services (with RN supervision and delegation)
Qualifications/Educational Requirements:
- High school graduate or G.E.D certificate.
- 12 months plus direct experience
- Helping disposition
