Join a collaborative healthcare marketing environment supporting pharmaceutical and life sciences clients as they bring important treatments to market and improve patient access to medicines. In this role, you will serve as a key connection between clients and internal creative, medical, and project teams, helping turn marketing strategies into effective, compliant communications for payer audiences. You will lead day-to-day account activities, coordinate project delivery, and ensure that work meets client expectations, timelines, and budgets. The position combines client relationship management, project leadership, and commercial awareness, with opportunities to contribute to new business initiatives and account growth. You will work across multiple projects and teams, gaining exposure to pharmaceutical launches, market access communications, and medical-legal-regulatory review processes.

Accountabilities:

  • Act as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned client projects, maintaining clear and consistent communication with clients and internal teams.

  • Coordinate project information, updates, milestones, and status reporting to ensure all team members remain aligned.

  • Lead project activities from initiation through delivery, managing scope, changes, timelines, budgets, and potential roadblocks.

  • Partner with Project Management and Client Services teams to establish project schedules, identify risks, and maintain effective delivery.

  • Support the development of new business initiatives and identify opportunities for organic growth within assigned accounts.

  • Coordinate pitch presentations and responses to requests for proposals (RFPs).

  • Organize and participate in content planning meetings with subject matter experts and other key stakeholders.

  • Prepare client contact reports, document discussions, and communicate agreed next steps.

  • Facilitate medical-legal-regulatory (MLR) reviews to ensure promotional materials meet applicable medical, legal, and regulatory requirements.

  • Contribute to client proposals, statements of work, project briefs, budgets, and financial reconciliations.

  • Monitor project financials, including direct and labor costs, identifying out-of-scope activities and hours.

  • Assist with financial reporting and forecasting while supporting project profitability and successful client deliverables.

  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

    • At least 2 years of combined account services and project management experience within a pharmaceutical agency; agency experience is required.

    • Experience working directly with clients and managing professional client relationships.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

    • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

    • Excellent planning, organization, time management, and attention to detail.

    • Ability to manage multiple clients and projects, adapt to changing priorities, and remain composed under tight deadlines.

    • Collaborative mindset, flexibility, positive attitude, and confidence working independently.

    • Willingness and ability to travel occasionally, with travel expected to be up to 5%.

    • Preferred experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, medical, or communications marketing.

    • Familiarity with pharmaceutical medical-legal-regulatory review processes.

    • Experience preparing statements of work (SOWs) and project briefs.

    • Hands-on experience with client submission platforms such as Zinc or Veeva for medical, legal, and regulatory reviews.

    • Pharmaceutical drug launch experience is an advantage.

    • A bachelor's degree focused on marketing, communications, or advertising is preferred.

    • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

    • Benefits:

      • Salary range: $65,000–$90,000 USD. The actual offer may vary based on skills, experience, training, qualifications, and work location.

      • Remote work within the United States.

      • The source job description does not specify additional healthcare, retirement, paid leave, or other employee benefit details.
