Senior Account Executive

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Risk Management team at Marsh. This role will be based in our Sydney office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
This role is suited to an early-career broker who is looking to develop their skills across a range of insurance and non-insurance products for clients across different industries. You will work as part of a collaborative team to support client relationships, manage broking activities and help strengthen account outcomes.
We will count on you to:
- Develop and maintain effective client relationships by understanding client needs and responding in a timely and professional manner
- Support renewal and broking strategies aligned to client requirements and account objectives
- Process billing requests, prepare quote information and manage related documentation accurately
- Build and maintain working relationships with insurers and support negotiation activities
- Monitor renewals, credit control and client reporting requirements for the portfolio
- Identify new business opportunities and support the introduction of additional products or broader coverage where appropriate
What you need to have:
- Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification or higher
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously within a multi-skilled team
- Well-developed time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn new systems quickly
