Senior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Maharashtra. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with a focus on GST, TDS, and proficiency in Tally Prime and Tally ERP 9. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing financial records, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and providing accurate financial reporting. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports in accordance with accounting standards. - Manage and oversee the preparation of GST and TDS returns, ensuring timely compliance with regulatory requirements. - Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial transactions. - Handle sales and purchase entries, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately in the accounting system. - Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes. - Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations as required. - Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance. Required Skills: - Strong knowledge of GST and TDS regulations. - Proficiency in Tally Prime and Tally ERP 9. - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Good communication skills to interact with various stakeholders.
