At Amazon Web Services (AWS), we're hiring highly technical cloud application architects to help our customers develop technical expertise and capacity, while also collaborating with our customers and partners on key engagements. Our consultants will deliver Pilot projects, topical workshops, and lead implementation projects. Professional Services engage in a wide variety of projects for customers, providing collective experience from across the AWS customer base and are obsessed about strong success for the Customer.
Responsibilities
• Architecting scalable, cloud-optimized application solutions on AWS
• Applying AI/Agent technologies (LLM, RAG, Multi-Agent) to accelerate legacy application analysis, code conversion, and architecture modernization
• Designing and building AI Agents and GenAI applications for the Migration & Modernization domain (Amazon Bedrock, AgentCore, Strands Agent, etc.)
• Working as a technical leader alongside customer business, development, and infrastructure teams
• Providing deep software development knowledge with respect to cloud architecture, design patterns, and programming
• Agile software development and DevOps (IaC, CI/CD, automated deployment)
• Delivering Pilot projects, topical workshops, and leading implementation projects
• Traveling to client locations and delivering professional services as needed
Requirements
• 10+ years of technical specialist, design and architecture experience
• Experience developing software code in one or more programming languages (java, python, etc.)
• Foundational knowledge of AI/ML and LLMs, with experience developing AI Agent or GenAI applications
• Experience architecting cloud-optimized applications (cloud-native patterns, serverless, microservices)
Preferred
• Experience analyzing and modernizing legacy codebases (Cobol, Java EE, .NET, Mainframe, etc.)
• Experience building AI Agent or GenAI solutions using Bedrock, AgentCore, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks
• Experience deploying RAG, MCP, and Tool/Function Calling–based solutions in production environments
• Experience designing AI Evaluation frameworks, Observability, and Harness Engineering
