Summary
On-site senior AI systems/infrastructure engineer in Kowloon who implements AI and Generative AI projects: deploys and supports LLM platforms, builds RAG and vector-database solutions, maintains GPU/server infrastructure, runs benchmarks, and produces technical documentation, with occasional on-call support.
Salary: $55,000 – $70,000 per month
Job Duties:
Assist in AI, Generative AI, and IT project implementation.
Evaluate and deploy AI models, including Large Language Models (LLMs).
Install, configure, test, and troubleshoot AI platforms and related software.
Support AI infrastructure such as servers, GPUs, storage, and networking.
Design and implement AI solutions, including RAG, vector databases, knowledge bases, and AI applications.
Conduct performance testing, benchmarking, and optimization of AI systems.
Work with users, vendors, contractors, and internal IT teams on project delivery.
Prepare technical documents, reports, specifications, and evaluation reports.
Provide technical support for AI platforms, models, and applications.
Assist in AI security, governance, and risk assessment activities.
Keep up to date with the latest AI technologies and industry trends.
Perform other AI and IT-related duties as assigned.
Provide on-call support and work outside office hours when required.
Job Requirements：
-Essential Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related disciplines.
Minimum 4 years of IT experience, including at least 2 years of experience in AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, or related technologies.
Hands-on experience in deploying, integrating, or supporting AI/LLM solutions.
Good understanding of LLM technologies, model serving, prompt engineering, and AI system architecture.
Experience with Linux, container technologies (e.g. Docker/Kubernetes), and scripting/programming languages such as Python.
Knowledge of AI infrastructure, including GPU, CPU, storage, networking, and performance optimization.
Experience integrating systems through APIs.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Experience preparing technical documentation and project reports.
Good communication skills in both English and Chinese.
-Preferred Qualifications
Experience deploying open-source LLMs or Generative AI solutions in on-premises environments.
Knowledge of RAG, vector databases, embedding models, AI agents, and knowledge management solutions.
Experience in AI model optimization, quantization, model serving, or distributed inference.
Experience in AI infrastructure planning, benchmarking, or high-performance computing.
Knowledge of AI security, governance, and risk management.
Experience implementing AI solutions in large-scale enterprise environments.
