Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in: Engineering Computer Science Mathematics Statistics Related field Minimum 7+ years’ relevant experience Advanced SQL expertise (non-negotiable) Advanced Python experience (non-negotiable) Strong automation experience using: SQL Python Power Automate Expert-level process management and process optimisation capability Must be based in Gauteng Experience leading a team Responsibilities Data Engineering and Analytics Design and develop scalable analytical data models Build and optimise data transformation processes Develop reusable and structured datasets for analytics and BI reporting Implement robust data quality and governance controls Automation and Optimisation Automate workflows and analytical processes Improve data processing efficiency and scalability Optimise SQL queries and data pipelines for performance Business Intelligence Support Translate business requirements into technical data solutions Support reporting, analytics, and advanced data initiatives Deliver reliable and high-performance analytical datasets Process Improvement Drive continuous improvement and process optimisation initiatives Maintain and improve analytical systems and workflows Ensure adherence to best-practice engineering standards Leadership and Collaboration Provide acting Team Lead support where required Collaborate with cross-functional technical and business teams Mentor and support junior team members where applicable
