Senior analytics engineer who owns curated datasets, semantic models and reporting layers the business relies on, working day to day in Microsoft Fabric, Databricks and Power BI, and contributing to emerging AI-ready data assets and AI-assisted analytics. Hybrid role based in Auckland CBD.

- Work across Microsoft Fabric, Databricks and Power BI to deliver trusted, scalable analytics products
- Partner closely with stakeholders to translate real operational needs into robust solutions
- Contribute to emerging AI-enabled capabilities, including AI-ready data assets and research/agent workflows
- Strong hands-on SQL and proven analytics engineering / BI delivery experience
- Practical capability building semantic models and governed metrics for Power BI
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric and/or Databricks (lakehouse/warehouse patterns, pipelines, notebooks)
- Confidence working through ambiguity, technical debt, shifting priorities and stakeholder change
- Solid engineering habits: Git, testing/validation, documentation, and DataOps-style delivery
