Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain Android applications for drone navigation and control
- Integrate the DJI Mobile SDK (and similar SDKs) to deliver reliable flight and mission control
- Collaborate closely with software and operations teams
- Provide technical support to drone pilots during field operations
- Drive a product from concept to customer release, contributing to the entire software development lifecycle – from planning and design to testing and deployment
About You
- 5+ years of professional experience in Android development
- University degree in Engineering or similar
- Hands‑on experience with the DJI Mobile SDK or comparable drone control SDKs
- Proven track record of delivering production‑ready software
- Ability to bring a product from initial concept to customer release
- Strong understanding of geospatial reasoning and spatial data
- Willingness to support drone pilots in the field
- Experience with navigation and control of drones other than DJI is a plus
- C#/.NET programming experience is a plus
- Fluent in English, German is a plus
