Senior Android Engineer

Summary

Senior Android Engineer builds and maintains mobile integrations to ingest health data from devices and third parties, exposing clean interfaces to product teams using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.

We are looking for a Senior Android Engineer to build and harden the mobile client integrations that bring health data into the client’s application — including on-device and third-party health data sources — and to expose that data cleanly to the product teams that consume it. We are looking for a proactive and self-sufficient person, able to navigate complex integration work across mobile and backend boundaries, unblock themselves quickly, and collaborate closely with backend, QA, and partner teams.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain Android client integrations for ingesting and unifying health data from on-device and third-party sources
  • Integrate with Google Health Connect and external health data providers, handling permissions, sync, and data quality
  • Expose health data cleanly to product teams through shared, well-documented client interfaces
  • Partner with backend, QA, and consuming product teams to deliver reliable end-to-end data flows
  • Ensure quality and safety through incremental rollouts, with a strong focus on stability and performance

Requirements

  • Senior Android engineer with 5+ years building, shipping, and maintaining mobile apps
  • Deep expertise in Android development, including architecture, performance, debugging, and stability
  • Strong production experience with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose in real-world applications
  • Solid experience integrating with platform APIs, third-party SDKs, and backend services (REST APIs, asynchronous data flows, coroutines/Flow)
  • Solid engineering discipline: incremental delivery, pragmatic testing, careful refactoring, and effective risk management

Nice to have

  • Experience with Google Health Connect integrations — reading/writing health data, permissions, and background sync
  • Experience with health tech, wellness, or regulated products (e.g., HIPAA, health data handling)
  • Experience contributing to or extending internal frameworks/libraries
  • Experience with analytics/experimentation (A/B testing), instrumentation, and monitoring

We offer

  • We gather like-minded people:
    • Top tech minds driving innovation in AI, cloud and digital platform modernization
    • Supportive team and agile, startup-like culture
    • Hybrid by design mode and opportunity to work remotely within Poland
    • Chance to work abroad for up to 60 days annually
    • Business-driven relocation opportunities
  • We provide growth opportunities:
    • Career development programs
    • Thought leadership, mentoring, soft skills and well-being programs
    • Certification (Anthropic, Gemini, GCP, Azure, AWS)
    • English classes
  • We cover it all:
    • Stable pay
    • Participation in the Employee Stock Purchase Plan with a 15% discount
    • Benefits package (health insurance, multisport, shopping vouchers)
    • Referral bonuses up to $2,000
    • Offices featuring entertainment and relaxation zones, table tennis and football, free snacks, coffee and more
    • Corporate, social and well-being events
  • Please, note:
    • Benefits listed above are available to employees only
    • We are open for working with Contractors. Terms of B2B cooperation agreements are agreed individually
    • We will reach out to selected candidates exclusively
