Senior Android Engineer

Schindler Group in Milan, Lombardy, Italy is seeking a Senior Android Engineer to strengthen our software team. You will contribute to the development of mobile applications for elevator passengers, bridging digital interfaces with hardware control systems and access devices.

You will lead software architecture discussions, design and implement SDKs using BLE and NFC, and collaborate with global teams to deliver secure, high-performance mobile experiences.

Contribute to development, architecture and continuous improvement of mobile solutions. Design, implement, test and improve SDKs interfacing with hardware and devices. Collaborate with product owners and global teams on architecture decisions. Drive automated tests and CI practices. Participate in all stages of the software lifecycle. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline. Strong Android development experience with Kotlin. Experience with hardware-centric mobile apps and BLE/NFC. Experience with APIs and SDK development. Ability to work in international, distributed teams.
