Senior API & Integration Architect (DLN)

Herzum Software S.R.L. Unipersonale is seeking a Senior Integration Architect to join the Knowledge Management & Data team in a hybrid role based in Ispra (VA). You will design and implement integration strategies, APIs, and containerized solutions that align with business needs and standards.

Required: master’s degree or 5 years of higher education, 20+ years IT experience, English B2+, and deep expertise in HTTP/API design, REST/SOAP, microservices, security, and CI/CD.

Design, plan and implement integration strategies within HTTP/S ecosystems. Apply distributed-architecture best practices for complex integrations. Design, implement and document APIs exposed securely via API Gateway. Develop, deploy and manage integration solutions on containerized infra. Collaborate with engineering to meet security, scalability, and maintainability standards. Master’s degree or 5 years higher education is required. Minimum 20 years of IT professional experience. English level B2 or higher (spoken and written). At least 10+ years in HTTP/API design and integration. Experience with RESTful and SOAP web services. Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes and cloud-native architectures. Experience with distributed/microservice architectures. Knowledge of OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect. Familiarity with API management platforms and CI/CD tools.
