Senior Application Engineer (Electrical or Electronics Experience Required) Description

Our client is an innovative manufacturer whose products support a range of electrical control, power management, and system integration applications, with a stable customer base primarily made up of OEMs. They are looking for a Senior Application Engineer to join their team. You'll serve as the bridge between customers and engineering, helping customers troubleshoot technical challenges and identify the right solution for their application. Because the team is relatively small, there is flexibility to shape the role around your strengths, whether that leans more toward hands-on engineering support, customer interaction, or a blend of both. You'll work closely with customers, sales, and engineering to troubleshoot applications, evaluate how electrical systems interact, and recommend the appropriate technical solution. They are seeking someone who enjoys working in a collaborative, relationship-driven environment. The company offers a team-oriented culture that values partnership over pressure. Performance matters, but success is driven more by technical problem solving, collaboration, and long-term customer relationships than rigid metrics.

Senior Application Engineer (Electrical or Electronics Experience Required) Responsibilities

• Partner with customers to evaluate application requirements
• Recommend products based on customer applications
• Support sales through technical discovery and solution development
• Deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and application issues
• Diagnose product integration and performance challenges
• Collaborate with engineering and sales on customer solutions
• Develop application notes and technical documentation
• Support account growth through technical expertise
• Travel to customer sites, trade shows, and industry events

Senior Application Engineer (Electrical or Electronics Experience Required) Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience providing application engineering or technical support for electrical or electronic products
• Working knowledge of electronic circuits and system-level electrical troubleshooting
• Ability to work onsite daily required
• Ability to travel domestically up to 5% (typically one week of overnight travel per quarter)
