Senior Applications Analyst – Workday Finance and Supply Chain

Role: Workday Finance and Supply Chain Analyst
Work Location: Miami, FL (Onsite)

Salary: $125,000 - $130,000

The Planet Group is partnering with a large client based in Miami, FL to hire on a Workday Finance and Supply Chain Analyst. This position is responsible for the administration of complex business applications with a focus on Workday. Provides daily management, system design, building, testing, debugging, and installation.

Responsibilities
  • Partners with application teams and contractors to identify improvement opportunities and works with vendors to ensure accurate upgrades.
  • Generates and analyzes reports to inform decision making and improve workflows.
  • Leads vendor selection, data management, and process improvement activities.
  • Provides guidance to vendors on patches and upgrades to ensure reliable functionality.
  • Serves as a mentor and technical resource for junior analysts on complex applications.
  • Maintains applications through partnership with technical experts to mitigate functional or operational issues.
  • Tests and troubleshoots existing and proposed systems to verify accuracy and resolve issues.
  • Maintains advanced knowledge of operational workflows supported by Workday.
  • Develops or modifies established processes using market research to support application efficiency.
  • Acts as a recognized subject matter expert for assigned applications and manages special projects.
  • Contributes to application development and deployment planning.
  • Independently resolves end user inquiries and analyzes operational data for workflow optimization.
  • Performs complex work including analyzing system capabilities, identifying output requirements, and managing data controls.
  • Manages multiple application projects or serves as a project lead.
Education and Experience Requirements
  • Minimum of five years of relevant experience required. Associates degree in Information Technology required.
  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.
Must Have Requirements:
  • Advanced Workday Build: Deep capability in analyzing system capabilities, data controls, and complex system build out.
  • Project Leadership: Proven ability to manage multiple application projects and serve as the lead for specific modules.
  • Independent Troubleshooting: The ability to be the escalation point who can independently resolve end user inquiries and system issues.
