Senior Applied AI Scientist (AI/DS)

You will be:

• developing AI-powered solutions to improve the organic discoverability of vehicle inventory,
• building scalable AI-driven solutions for generating vehicle descriptions, model content, and SEO/GEO landing pages,
• developing search intent clustering models for automotive search queries,
• identifying and predicting high-potential combinations of brands, models, locations, and vehicle inventory,
• designing and optimizing ranking signals to improve search visibility and drive organic traffic growth,
• collaborating with Product Managers, Product Analysts, and Engineers to identify and prioritize growth opportunities,
• measuring and evaluating the impact of AI-driven SEO initiatives through experimentation and data analysis,
• working closely with engineering teams to deploy, monitor, and maintain production-grade AI solutions,
• supporting the evolution of content and search strategies for both traditional SEO and emerging Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) channels.

Your profile:

• 5+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Applied AI, or related roles,
• strong practical experience with NLP, LLMs, or content generation systems,
• experience developing and deploying machine learning solutions in production environments,
• proficiency in Python and modern ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, Hugging Face),
• experience working with large datasets and experimentation methodologies,
• experience with SEO, search ranking, recommendation systems, or information retrieval,
• experience with content optimization and large-scale content generation,
• familiarity with AWS-based environments,
• experience working with Kubernetes and cloud-native architectures,
• background in marketplace, classifieds, e-commerce, or consumer internet platforms,
• experience measuring business impact through A/B testing and experimentation,
• strong understanding of statistical analysis and hypothesis testing,
• experience collaborating with engineering and product teams in agile environments,
• ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders,
• fluent English.

Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required.

Nice to have:

• automotive industry experience,
• familiarity with Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) concepts,
• experience with Scala-based ecosystems,
• knowledge of search technologies such as Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, or similar platforms.
