Our client is one of the world's leading manufacturers of materials handling equipment. With a reputation for quality and innovation, they are looking to recruit an Area Sales Manager to cover the TA, DT & BS postcodes.

Responsible for generating revenue for the business via both self generated new business opportunities and by developing existing account growth and renewals, the role offer the opportunity to work for a business able to provide premium brand equipment and a high quality service offering.

What's Required:

• Experience gained in a similar new business Area Sales Manager role.
• A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
• Exposure to selling a premium proposition with product and service quality being the driver rather than price.
• The drive, dynamism and resilience required to be effective in a competitive sector.
• Significant exposure to selling forklift trucks on an outright sale and long term rental/contract hire basis.
