Day-to-day involves functional, performance, load and reliability testing of microservices, web apps, Linux systems and robotics/autonomous systems using Docker, ROS/ROS2 and CAN.
Location: Perth, WAExperience: 12+ years total experience, including 8+ years in Automation Testing
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop automation testing frameworks from scratch.Develop automation scripts using Python, Robot Framework and Selenium.Perform testing of microservices, web applications and Linux-based systems.Conduct functional, performance, reliability, scalability and load testing.Perform verification and validation of robotics/autonomous systems.Work with Docker, ROS/ROS2, CAN Bus and DDS environments.Manage source code and testing activities using Git/GitLab, Jira and Confluence.Work independently with engineering and development teams throughout the STLC.
Key SkillsStrong Python scripting.Good understanding of C/C++.Strong Robot Framework experience.Experience with Selenium.Linux, Docker and Microservices.Exposure to ROS/ROS2, CAN Bus or DDS.Git/GitLab, Jira and Confluence.Strong automation framework development experience.Performance/load/reliability testing experience.
Good to HaveMining / Resources industry experience.Autonomous Haulage Systems (AHS) experience.Robotics or other safety-critical systems experience.Bachelor's degree in computer science, Electronics, Robotics or related engineering discipline.
