Senior AWS Engineer - DevOps
Summary
B2B/freelance contract role (listed under a DevOps title but really a Databricks Engineer) working fully remote across Europe on modern cloud data platforms. Day to day involves building data pipelines, Data Lakes/warehouses and Lakehouse architecture with Databricks, Azure, Python and PySpark.
I'm currently working with a client looking for an experienced Databricks Engineer to join a fully remote project on a B2B / freelance contract basis.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working at the heart of modern cloud data platforms and has strong hands-on experience with Databricks and Azure.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong commercial experience with Databricks
- Azure cloud experience
- Strong Python and PySpark / Spark skills
- Experience building and managing Data Lakes & Data Warehouses
- Strong understanding of Delta Lake / Lakehouse architecture
- Experience designing and developing modern data pipelines
- Good understanding of cloud-based data engineering
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
