Your role as Senior Azure Platform & DevOps Consultant

Bridge Partners is seeking a Senior Azure Platform & DevOps Consultant to support secure, reliable, and scalable enterprise solution delivery. This role is focused on platform engineering and deployment infrastructure, with responsibility for Azure environments, deployment models, CI/CD, identity, security, governance, and platform controls.

The successful candidate will work closely with customer teams to establish and manage the environments and delivery processes required to move solutions through development, test, and production while supporting customer-controlled production deployment.

How you’ll contribute

  • Configure and manage Azure subscriptions, environments, and platform resources supporting enterprise solution delivery.
  • Establish and maintain development, test, and production deployment models.
  • Own and improve CI/CD pipelines supporting reliable and repeatable deployments.
  • Support identity and access management through Entra ID.
  • Implement and maintain appropriate security, governance, and platform controls.
  • Partner with application and solution teams to ensure infrastructure and deployment practices support delivery requirements.
  • Support customer-controlled production deployment models and coordinate effectively with customer platform and operations teams.
  • Evaluate and advise on relevant Azure data and platform services, including understanding the appropriate use of Databricks versus Azure Data Factory.
  • Identify platform risks, dependencies, and deployment issues and work with stakeholders to resolve them.
  • Document platform configurations, deployment approaches, and technical decisions to support continuity and repeatability.

Your skills and approach:

  • Senior-level experience in Azure platform engineering, DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or a closely related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience configuring and managing Azure subscriptions and environments.
  • Strong experience designing, implementing, and owning CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with development, test, and production deployment models.
  • Experience with Entra ID and enterprise identity concepts.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security, governance, and platform controls.
  • Experience working directly with customer or enterprise technology teams.
  • Ability to distinguish platform engineering responsibilities from application development responsibilities.
  • Working knowledge of Azure data services, including Databricks and Azure Data Factory.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical platform considerations into practical delivery decisions.

Compensation

The hourly pay range for this role is $100 to $115 per hour. The final rate will be determined based on a variety of factors, including the candidate’s relevant work experience, certifications, education, and geographic location. Please note that the range listed applies specifically to this position and may vary for other roles.
