Senior Azure Platform Engineer

NTT DATA Romania is seeking a Senior Azure Platform Engineer to elevate our data and analytics environments. You will design, deploy, and manage robust infrastructure solutions that leverage cloud technologies and big data frameworks, ensuring optimal performance, scalability and security.

The role focuses on IaC with Terraform and ARM templates, Azure IaaS/PaaS, networking, monitoring, and collaboration with Dev and Ops teams. On-call availability may be required.

Automate cloud deployments using Terraform and ARM templates. Develop CI/CD pipelines with PowerShell and YAML. Manage Azure IaaS/PaaS services for performance and cost. Configure Azure networking components including Gateways/Firewalls. Monitor infrastructure performance with Azure tools. Implement OAuth2/OpenID Connect with Azure Entra ID. Enforce Azure Policies for governance and compliance. Design scalable, geo-redundant solutions. Query and manage databases during deployments. Collaborate with Dev and Ops teams to improve practices. Provide on-call support when needed. Bachelor's degree in Informatics or related field. Minimum 5 years in a DevOps Engineer role. Strong Terraform, YAML and PowerShell scripting experience. Proficient with Azure IaaS and PaaS components. Familiarity with Windows Server administration. Knowledge of Azure Policies, redundancy and scaling. Experience with Azure networking and API Management. Knowledge of OAuth2/OpenID Connect and Azure Entra. SQL basics and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes). Excellent problem-solving and English communication.
