On-site senior backend role in Kuala Lumpur: design, develop, and maintain .NET back-end services and APIs (C#, ASP.NET/ASP.NET Core, Microsoft SQL Server), including code reviews, testing, debugging, and secure coding. - Design, develop, and maintain back-end applications and services using Microsoft .NETtechnologies to meet business and client requirements.
- Collaborate with developers, business stakeholders, and other team members to deliverreliable software solutions effectively.
- Review, refactor, and enhance existing code to improve performance, scalability,
maintainability, and adherence to coding standards. - Conduct code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve softwaredefects and technical issues.
- Perform unit, integration, and other appropriate testing to ensure the quality, reliability,and functionality of developed applications.
- Develop and maintain secure, reliable, and responsive services and APIs aligned withbusiness requirements, working closely with front-end teams where applicable.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies, industry standards, developmentframeworks, and best practices that may improve systems and technical solutions.
- Analyze and resolve technical issues efficiently, applying strong debugging, analytical, andproblem-solving skills to support stable application operations.
- Apply secure coding practices, protect sensitive data, and address vulnerabilities
identified through testing or code review.
Job Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a .NET Developer, Back-End Developer, or Application Developer.
- At least 2 years of software development experience using C#, ASP.NET or ASP.NETCore, and Microsoft SQL Server. Experience with MVC architecture, HTML5, CSS, jQuery,and Redis is preferred.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue is an advantage.
- Good understanding of architectural styles and APIs, including REST and RPC.
- Working knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
- Familiarity with version control tools such as Git and standard branching and code review practices.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on writing clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and adapt to a fast-paced, evolvingenvironment.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and innovative.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted software development tools, with the ability to use themresponsibly for coding, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting while validatingoutputs and protecting confidential information.
