Job Description
On behalf of one of our clients, we are seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join their innovative team in Eindhoven. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the future of energy management technology.
As a Senior Backend Developer, you will:
- Develop and maintain backend services using TypeScript and REST APIs
- Collaborate closely with frontend, UX, and data science teams
- Optimize and scale cloud-based infrastructure
- Lead initiatives in test automation, clean code, and best practices
- Continuously improve backend architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in backend development, with strong TypeScript skills
- Proven track record working in multidisciplinary teams of at least 8 developers
- Experience with Gitlab CI/CD, Kubernetes, and open-source technologies
- Expertise in test automation and Clean Code principles
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience
- Willingness to live in or relocate to the Eindhoven area
- Competitive salary range between €4,000 and €7,000, based on experience
