Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior .NET Developer with strong expertise in application modernization, lifecycle management (LCM), and enterprise software development to join a team responsible for maintaining and evolving business-critical applications.

The team is currently undertaking a major modernization initiative, focusing on reducing technical debt, upgrading legacy applications, strengthening security, and migrating development platforms and CI/CD pipelines to modern technologies. Alongside these activities, the team is also developing modern application capabilities and continuously improving engineering practices.

As a Senior .NET Developer, you will play a key role in modernizing existing applications, supporting platform migrations, improving maintainability, and contributing to the adoption of modern software engineering practices, including AI-assisted development. You will work closely with developers, architects, product owners, and other stakeholders in an agile, cross-functional environment.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading lifecycle management (LCM) initiatives for business-critical applications.

  • Modernizing legacy applications and reducing technical debt.

  • Planning and executing migrations from older .NET Framework/.NET Core versions to modern .NET platforms.

  • Migrating repositories, build pipelines, and deployment workflows from Azure DevOps to GitHub and GitHub Actions.

  • Identifying and remediating outdated components, unsupported frameworks, security vulnerabilities, and lifecycle-related risks.

  • Supporting platform upgrades and ensuring applications remain secure, maintainable, and operationally stable.

  • Contributing to CI/CD improvements, automated testing, and modern DevSecOps practices.

  • Collaborating with the development team to improve engineering practices, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.

  • Promoting the use of AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, software quality, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting.

Who we are looking for:

  • Strong experience developing enterprise applications using .NET/C#, APIs, and relational databases.

  • Proven experience working with legacy systems, application modernization, and long-term application maintenance.

  • Experience planning and executing framework and platform migrations to supported .NET versions.

  • Hands-on experience migrating development platforms and CI/CD pipelines from Azure DevOps to GitHub/GitHub Actions.

  • Experience identifying and mitigating technical debt, lifecycle risks, and security vulnerabilities.

  • Familiarity with software lifecycle management, dependency management, and modern DevSecOps practices.

  • Experience with cloud-native technologies and platforms such as Kubernetes is considered an advantage.

  • Experience with Windows Server migrations and application remediation is beneficial.

  • Strong understanding of automated testing, code reviews, CI/CD, and modern software engineering practices.

  • Experience working in agile development teams and environments moving toward trunk-based development.

  • Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools in software engineering is highly valued.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.

  • Fluent in English.
