Senior Backend Developer (Go)

Cubbit, a next‑gen cloud storage company, is hiring a Backend Developer to design, develop and maintain scalable services. The role offers full remote or hybrid work with offices in Bologna and Milan, and ESOP participation.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in backend development, deep Go knowledge, cloud services experience, and strong networking skills. You’ll collaborate across teams to build reliable distributed systems and improve performance.

Develop software for existing and new products. Review teammates' code and discuss changes. Transform requirements into actionable tasks. Analyze tracing to spot bottlenecks and issues. 5+ years in backend development. Strong knowledge of Go (Golang). Understanding of cloud services. Experience with Git. Networking fundamentals (sockets, HTTP, APIs). Experience with AI-based and agentic development tools. Experience with Linux operating systems. Experience with Distributed Systems.
