Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field,
- Solid understanding of Object‑Oriented Programming (OOP) and design principles (SOLID, Clean Code, pragmatic design patterns),
- 5+ years of backend experience with Java and Spring Boot (or similar JVM‑based frameworks),
- Hands‑on experience with AI‑powered software development processes, including Spec‑Driven Development (SDD), AI‑assisted coding, and modern AI‑native development approaches,
- Hands‑on experience with RESTful API design and development,
- Familiarity with SOAP and XML technologies,
- Experience with RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar messaging systems,
- Experience in the payments/fintech domain is a strong plus,
- Experience with Unit Test Frameworks,
- Experience with AI‑assisted coding tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT) is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high‑performance backend services,
- Develop and enhance robust backend systems and APIs,
- Build and manage integrations related to payment systems and financial services,
- Apply best practices such as clean code and design principles to ensure high code quality,
- Maintain and optimize existing systems for performance, reliability, and scalability,
- Troubleshoot, debug, and improve system stability,
- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.
