Senior Backend Engineer - Blockchain Infrastructure

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services and APIs for blockchain applications.
• Implement and optimize distributed systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and fault tolerance.
• Work with various programming languages such as Go, Rust, or Python for backend development.
• Integrate with blockchain nodes and protocols to enable seamless data flow and transaction processing.
• Develop and manage database solutions (SQL and NoSQL) for storing and retrieving blockchain data.
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and stability.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers and other stakeholders to define API contracts and ensure smooth integration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and technical decision-making processes.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in blockchain technology and backend development practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in backend software development.
• Proven experience developing scalable and distributed systems.
• Strong proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Go, Rust, Python, or Java.
• Experience with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of blockchain principles, consensus mechanisms, and cryptocurrencies.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Strong communication skills for effective remote collaboration.
